The Missouri Sunshine Coalition

Welcome to the web site for a new organization for all people who seek to promote Open Government at all levels in Missouri.

The Missouri Sunshine Coalition was chartered in 2009. The group was organized after several years of discussion by interested organizations and individuals.

Missouri is one of the last states to form such a statewide coalition. However, the National Freedom of Information Center is housed at the Reynolds Journalism Institute on the University of Missouri campus in Columbia.

The Missouri Sunshine Coalition may be contacted through the Missouri Press Association, also located in Columbia.
